The XDA Recognized Developer Faryaab who is located in the UK (check his Twitter account out @Faryaab), has managed to get Jellybean compatible and working with an International Samsung Galaxy SIII / i9300. Not bad for a 15 year old! Geez.. I can’t even remember what I was doing at 15 years of age, but it sure as hell wasn’t cracking the latest Nokia Symbian software.
This is exciting news though. We can now understand what Google’s intentions will be for Jellybean on a wider scale and also what they’ve been up to in their collaborations with Samsung on their Nexus phone.
Regardless… all the latest Jellybean releases are ports based from the leaked Jellybean 4.1 OS from the Galaxy Nexus, meaning they are modified for us with a Samsung Galaxy SIII so this isn’t the official release… in fact it isn’t even the official unofficial leak! You have been warned that this isn’t a 100% true compatible release as the stats will show you below. (more…)
It is no secret that South Korea’s Samsung Electronics has a runaway winner on its hands with the Samsung Galaxy S3. This phone, the third in the S series is a marked improvement over its popular predecessors. By all accounts it is the fastest fastest-selling android smartphone of all time. In fact, it has so many fantastic features that it has sold far more units than Apple’s undeniable desirable iPhone 4. It has also left HTC’s One X and One XL far behind. It is no surprise that Samsung is the world’s biggest technology firm from the point of reference of revenues – and don’t forget the accessories like Galaxy S3 covers and cases!. (more…)

After the successful launch of Samsung Galaxy S3 in London, this is one phone that is generating a lot of buzz in the tech world. According to the recent reports, Samsung Electronics have acquired 9 million pre-orders of Samsung Galaxy S3 handsets straight from consumers – this number is still growing too!
This has created history by breaking the record of last year’s much awaited phone, iPhone 4S, which has pre-orders of 4 million handsets – this is surely telling of Samsung’s future dominance? The enormous margin of 5 million orders over it’s nearest competitor is sufficient enough to prove the curiosity among the people to switch over from Apple’s walled garden to Android’s open model. This can only be a good thing for the future of mobile phones.
The wait is over. This is the phone you’ve been drooling over for almost a year, capturing the hearts and minds of many smartphone users all over the world. This is THE best phone in the world right now, with the power to control all aspects of your day to day business life and with sleek curves to die for.
I present, the Official Photo of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Isn’t she lovely?
The Galaxy SIII is made with durable plastics that make up the design and feel of the phone, an experience that is similar to the precursor – the Galaxy S2. It also has a physical home button which puts the bezel less design rumours to rest as well. You’ll just have to wait for the next generation of ‘buttonless’ phones.
It appears the default colour will be grayish, but we can only hope a white & black version will be launched at the same time. It will be interesting to see who sells Samsung Galaxy S3 covers first… You got to protect your smartphone!
The screen itself is a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels that gives a sharper and vivid display than arguably any other smartphone out on the market.
I personally can’t wait to get my hands on this sexy beast of a smartphone. Oh how you have won me over, my Samsung Galaxy S3!
What did you think of the design itself? Did it win you over? Are there any flaws?
